I saw this today on the Northeast Boston Terrier Rescue, Inc.‘s blog andย had to post it here in honor of my Chloe because it made me giggle…

Seriously. How could anyone say that this face is so ugly that it’s almost cute?? It looks like pure, unadulterated CUTENESS to me…

  • Christy - Precious face!

  • Christy - Look at that precious face!

  • Emilee - I love this! No, these dogs are NOT Pugs, or Boxers for that matter (we’ve gotten that one twice)! Chloe is adorable! Go Bostons! ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Emily Beaty - totally agree – completely cute. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • leesia - haha, we have a friend who affectionately calls his two bostons his ‘ugly monsters’ — they really are the sweetest!

  • claire - i’d have to agree, that is definitely pure, unadulterated cuteness.

Today I was very lucky to spend Easter morning at the Philadelphia Zoo, for a shoot for an upcoming article at AroundMainLine.com. It was fantastic… the weather was beautiful, we got a tour of some of the zoo highlights, and they had an egg hunt set up for the kids that we happened by right before it started. Fun! Check out all the brightly colored Easter eggs scattered across the lawn… ย

  • Li W. - That first photo is awesome! Hope you had fun at the zoo!

  • Allison - So cool! Great shots!

  • Jennie Sloan - Great shots! Loving the first one especially. I love love love the Philly Zoo. I need to go back, it’s been a few years and I haven’t seen the Big Cat exhibit.

  • Stephanie - Awesome Shots April! Im sooo bummed we didn’t get to meet up ๐Ÿ™

A friend of mine was in town visiting family and we were able to get together in Doylestown for a photo playdate at the Mercer Museum and Font Hill Castle. Unfortunately, Font Hill does not allow photography inside so you’ll have to take my word that it is definitely worth a visit. A European style castle right in our area… how unique is that? And the tile work inside is incredible. After the castle we headed over to the Mercer Museum, which was quite interesting as well. Below are a few photos…ย

Melanie, working it for the camera…ย

The photos were recently featured in an article published by the online magazine AroundMainLine.com. Check it out, it’s a great piece!

  • Jennie Sloan - Fabulous job! The photos came out wonderful and the article is great also. Congrats ๐Ÿ™‚

  • claire - wow, this is a great set! it’s cool to see what doggie photogs can do with other subjects…so talented!

“Help! Pick me up!”

That’s what her eyes are saying. Lucy doesn’t respond well to over-friendly dogs at the dog park. Unlike her sister, she chooses flight over fight every time. It’s funny how different their personalities are…ย

  • sarah - oh, little girl! gracie is the same way…..totally submissive and if a big dog, or too many dogs get up in her grill, she crawls to me with her tail tucked and just wants to leave! schnauzer-face.

  • Grace - LOVE that look on her face!!

  • Rachel - Awww…..you can almost see the desperation in her eyes. Poor girl. This made me giggle. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Dana - Love this angle! She’s so cute.

I had so much fun doing Bentley, Charlie, and Lucy’s photo session… they were all such perfect models. Especially Charlie, he hammed it up for the camera. I love that. Here is his glamour shot…

In every session, there is one image that just strikes me. This was no exception. I saw this image of Bentley and I smiled. It is so him… in all of his energetic, dirty tongue, grinning lab glory…

And last but not least, Miss Lucy… princess of the household…
