Rocky…

She’s been through a lot of hard times. And he’s been by her side. Her constant. Her unconditional support. The one that she snuggles with at night and smiles at in the morning. Her dog… Rocky. When she first contacted me she explained that while she has millions of photos of him alone, what she really wants are photos of them. Together. I hope that I was able to do justice to their very special bond.

It was nearly impossible to choose my favorites, so watch this lovely slideshow to see the whole session!

He loves riding in the car…

Dash :: Philadelphia dog photography

Rebecca and I started chatting online, both owning pet-related businesses in the Philly area. I love being able to connect with local pet businesses. She runs a website called The Philly Dog, which is a fabulous resource for dog owners in the Philadelphia area. Check it out! Dash’s cute mug may be gracing it’s pages sometime soon.

In the meantime, I’ve posted a few of my favorites below (it was way too hard to choose!). If you can’t get enough of Dash, click HERE to watch the slideshow!

Thor :: Philadelphia dog photographer

I’ve been wanting to share some more images of Thor for awhile now since I *heart* him and all of his Dane-ness. This was a commercial session so I didn’t get to play with Thor as much as I would have liked, but I loved shooting him. Loved. I posted two shots here, and below are a few more…

{Sneak}peek: Dash :: Philadelphia pet photographer

Last week the weather finally permitted me to have a session with Dash, an adorable little Yorkie owned by Rebecca from The Philly Dog. The Philly Dog is an awesome resource for all things canine in the Philadelphia area. Definitely check it out and stop back often as she is always adding great new information.

Dash was wonderfully cooperative and irresistibly cute… which makes for a pretty easy session for me. It doesn’t hurt when you’re working with a face like this…

Towards the end of the session, Dash decided to change into his festive fall sweater and model by a pumpkin that was larger than him. He has a keen fashion sense, that little Yorkie…

There is nothing in this world that Dash loves more than playing ball. It brings out his crazy eyes…
