Tag Archives: philadelphia engagement photography Last weekend, the heat wave we’ve been experiencing here on the East Coast broke… leaving us with some cooler temps, much less humidity, and yummy, yummy light for Megan + Anthony’s engagement session. We had a fabulous evening… lots of laughter, a few glasses of sangria, and ice cream for dinner. All in all, a successful engagement session. Oh, and we took some pretty pictures too…
 Leslie + Charles met back in college at Villanova University. Next May, they will say ‘I do’ on the campus where they first met. We had a blast at the Art Museum… they got engaged nearby so it’s particularly meaningful for them (you can actually see the exact location in the slideshow below!). I was thrilled that they brought their pup Jackson along… I had seen his cute mug on Leslie’s blog before so I knew how much they adore him.  Last weekend I met up with Jen+Rich for their engagement session. Jen+Rich are such a fun couple… They’re so natural together, which makes sense since they’ve been together for nine years! We decided to explore downtown Phoenixville, since they’re getting married at the Phoenixville Foundry in July… I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! Don’t ask how I end up with such gorgeous couples because I. don’t. know. You won’t find me complaining though…
 They have a history. A history that began about 12 years ago in a high school gym class. High school sweethearts. But the timing didn’t yet work so they went their separate ways. They say you never quite forget your first love. Years later she contacted him and felt the same high school giddyness… She loves that he makes her laugh, and he adores her laugh. It works. And while it was dental school that brought Dieter to Philadelphia… It was Dieter that brought Danielle here. They’re moving back home to Florida in less than a month, so they wanted to do their engagement session here; the first place where they first lived together and started planning a beautiful August wedding in Costa Rica.  Danielle and I started planning their engagement session months ago via e-mail. By the time it arrived, she felt more like a friend than a client… And I have to say, I love when that happens. Travel has been an integral part of their relationship. It began with them traveling between Florida and Philadelphia every weekend to see each other. And it continues with them traveling together… to Costa Rica… to get married!!
They have an adorable Yorkie named Bella… Can you believe she’s 10 years old?? Neither can I.
