Last weekend Jen + Rich got married on a day that could not have been more perfect. It was hot, no doubt about that, but we were able to retreat into their reception at the Phoenixville Foundry to cool off in between taking photos. The Foundry is one of the hottest, new venues. Not only is it an incredible building, but it’s location in downtown Phoenixville is perfect… there are innumerable fantastic spots for photos. But let’s start with a photo from the ceremony… Pretty excited to be married, don’t you think?

As we were walking around Phoenixville, this old house caught my eye… I love the iron fence and the classic look to the house. Granted, it’s not in the best condition. But it has character. As I had them stand in front of it, a random guy walked by and made some snarky comments about taking wedding photos in front of an ugly, run-down, old house. His words, not mine. Jen quickly responded with, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” That’s my girl. Take this, snarky dude… I’m pretty happy with how this turned out…

Last weekend, the husband and I made a trip to Maryland for Jen + Sam’s engagement session on a horse farm. Pretty much an ideal location. Their session included their horse, Troy, AND their two Jack Russell Terriers, Shiloh and Rocco. It got a little crazy with three animals, but it was a good time and I’m so looking forward to their wedding in September!
